To develop the blend's delicious flavor profile, the cigars were allowed to age for two years in a closely monitored climate controlled aging room. The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua. The Rocky Patel A.L.R. Second Edition was awarded #4 spot in Cigar Aficionado Top 25 Cigars of the Year for 2023 with a 96 rating. It also was awarded the #5 spot in 2019.
