  The original Punch cigar was created in 1840 by a Cuban cigar manufacturer named Manuel Lopez. In an effort to attract the British market, he named the cigar after Mr. Punch of the Punch and Judy puppet shows. Produced in Honduras under the direction of Cuban cigar master Frank Llaneza, Punch has been a leading premium brand since 1969.

  Punch Diablo

  According to Ed Lahmann, Senior Brand Manager for Punch, “When it came time to select the blend for Diablo, we decided that we wanted to make the fullest-bodied Punch to date.” Mission accomplished! The Punch Diablo is handmade for the General Cigar Company in Nicaragua at the world-famous AJ Fernandez Cigars factory. The Punch Diablo’s oscuro Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper has been aged for four years. Underneath the wrapper is a six-year old Connecticut broadleaf binder which contains a Nicaraguan Habano and Honduran Habano filler that has been aged for four years. All of these fine tobaccos have banded together to make the Punch Diablo a full-bodied, full-strength cigar that creates a devilishly, spicy smoking experience.

  Punch Grand Cru Natural

  The Punch Grand Cru Natural is a silky smooth mild to medium-bodied Honduran cigar that exudes elegance. Using a golden USA Connecticut Shade wrapper on top of a USA Connecticut Broadleaf binder and a mix of premium Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers, this fan-favorite stogie is plenty flavorful without being overly strong. Notes of cedar, nuts and vanilla can be found within this classic blend.

  Punch Rare Corojo is a limited production cigar that is released annually in the spring. The wrapper on this cigar is exclusively cultivated for Punch Rare Corojo. The rich Ecuadorean Sumatra wrapper has a reddish brown color and smooth taste. The blend is well balanced with a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and Honduran, Nicaraguan and Dominican Piloto Cubano in the filler. Production is very limited so the cigar is only available every year for a short period of time.
