Dark chocolatey notes combine with a sweet honey and warm almond aroma to deliver a traditional, medium-bodied smoking indulgence. Its Ecuadorian Colorado maduro wrapper covers a binder and filler made of premium tobacco leaves of an undisclosed origin. The Casdagli Cypher 3311 Enigma cigar is handmade at the IGM Cigars factory in Costa Rica.  During WWII, the German military used a super sophisticated encoding machine they named the Enigma.

  Jeremy Casdagli, the founder of Casdagli cigars wanted to create a cigar line that paid tribute to his grandfather’s accomplishments as an artist and his military service during WWII. The Casdagli Cypher 3311 cigar line accomplishes both goals. While serving, his grandfather Major A.T. Casdagli was captured by Germans and placed in a prisoner of war camp, where he spent four years. The “3311” in the line’s name refers to the Major’s POW number. To keep his spirits up as well as those of his fellow prisoners, the Major embroidered hidden messages in patches he created by using Morse Code. Two of his most famous messages were “God save the King” and “F-Hitler.” The cigars in the Cypher 3311 line is composed of different blends using rare tobaccos, and each line comes with its own unique back story. Only 4,000 cigars will be made for each release in the lines. The cigars are handmade at the IGM Cigars Factory in Costa Rica.

The weather conditions, with a nearly permanent cloudy sky, provide a natural shade, protecting the wrapper plants from sunshine and allowing the tobacco to grow thin and light. Ecuador supplies Connecticut and Sumatra type wrappers to many cigar factory in the world.
