Jason Wood, Vice President for Miami Cigar & Company and son-in-law to Nestor Miranda (president of the company), wanted to surprise Nestor for his 80th birthday with an extra special cigar. To achieve this goal, Wood worked in secret with My Father Cigars. The cigar is a Nicaraguan puro that features a dark chocolatey maduro wrapper. The blend was developed with a flavor profile that Miranda is fond of. The cigars are being released in Nestor Miranda’s three favorite vitolas: the Danno: a double corona, the Lancero: a long panatela, and the Ruky: a perfecto. And that’s how the NM 80th Anniversary was born.

The "Garcia Family Industrial Park" located in Esteli, Nicaragua is a seven-acre complex with 9 buildings, over 1900 employees, where the Garcias supervise their cigar production from the tobacco field to the roller's table. Their Miami headquarters house 12 rollers that make all of the company's "handmade in Miami" brands.
