Neptune Rating

This medium bodied smoke offers notes of dark tobacco, spicy and cedar. It is a Nicaraguan puro with a reddish Colorado maduro wrapper. Handmade in Nicaragua. The Oliva Serie O takes a traditional Cuban approach in that it uses the same Habano seeds but grown in different regions of Nicaragua (Esteli, Condega, and Jalapa Valley), which gives the cigar its distinct flavor and aroma. The Oliva Serie O blend received an 92 rating from Cigar Insider, and these tinned petites are a great way to enjoy the renowned flavor without sacrificing too much of your day.

A toasty, sweet medium-bodied cigar with a creamy profile and hints of spicy, cedar, and coffee. Its African Cameroon wrapper cloaks a Nicaraguan binder and filler. Handmade in Nicaragua. The Oliva Serie G provides a palate pleasing smoking experience at an appealing price.

Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust’s Year of the Pausers isn’t your usual zodiac cigar. It’s built in honor of Tom and Michelle Pauser, two longtime figures in the cigar world who are known for their passion and presence in the community. Steve Saka used their preferences as a guide, creating two blends that capture their personalities rather than an animal or year. The box contains two distinct blends, one inspired by Michelle’s love for Sin Compromiso and the other by Tom’s preference for bolder Mi Querida styles. Steve Saka took their tastes as starting points and built cigar recipes around them, giving each a shout-out instead of a one-size-fits-all release. Like all Lunar New Year cigars, these will only stick around for a limited time. Make sure to get your hands on a box or try them both.
