A full-bodied smoke with a peppery, leathery, and earthy profile. It features a savory Ecuadorian Habano wrapper placed over a Nicaraguan Habano binder and filler. This all Habano cigar is the sixth and final release of the popular Sunday Gravy line. Like its predecessors, the Porcellino’s tobaccos underwent a low and slow fermentation process to allow its delectable flavors to develop. Handmade in Nicaragua, the cigar is named after the Il Porcellino fountain in Florence Italy. “Il Porcellino” is Italian for little pig.

  Back in great-grandma and grandma’s day, the family matriarchs would gather on an early Sunday morning and start prepping and slow cooking the old family recipe for the “Sunday Sauce” or “Sunday Gravy.” It was a meticulous process that could not be rushed. Much like crafting a memorable cigar. The Diesel Sunday Gravy is a limited-edition, seasonal release cigar that was inspired by this time-honored home-cooking tradition. Each quarterly release features a new blend and a new size. The Sunday Gravy is the first Diesel cigar to be offered by the Forge Cigar Company (which is part of Scandinavian Tobacco Group who also owns General Cigar Co.) The blends were developed by master cigar blender AJ Fernandez and Justin Andrews, Diesel’s Senior Brand Manager. The cigars are crafted at AJ’s Tabacalera Fernandez factory in Nicaragua.

  Ecuadorian Habano wrapper has become one of the most used cigar wrappers in the market. Grown primarily by the Oliva family, this tobacco originated from Habano or H2000 seeds brought to Ecuador from Cuba. This leaf is rich and flavorful thanks to the temperate climate of Ecuador and the quality of its volcanic soil.

  Nicaraguan Habano tobacco is grown in the Jalapa and Esteli regions of Nicaragua, which is valued for its rich volcanic soil and ideal climate for growing tobacco. Nicaraguan Habano produces cigars with a Cubanesque flavor and aroma.
