Ancora Executive Humidor

The Ancora Executive Humidor is an elegant way to store up to 125 of your favorite Churchill-sized cigars. The humidor is made of long-lasting okoume wood, aka Gaboon mahogany, and features a maintenance-free, Lucite-lined interior. It comes with two Lucite dividers and a wooden compartment with a magnetic face designed to hold four Boveda 2-Way Humidity Control Packs. • Humidor Capacity

  Humidor capacity equals the number of cigars that can fit in the humidor. Since cigars vary significantly in size and shape, we use Churchill sized cigars (7" x 50) when calculating humidor capacity. Remember capacity is the MAXIMUM of cigars that can fit in the humidor. For better air & humidity circulation, we recommend to not fill your humidor more than 75% of its capacity.

• Cedar Lining

  Cedar has been used for many centuries in boats and in high-humidity environments, as it is famous for staying flat and not warping under high humidity conditions. All cedar humidors are rare because of how costly this wood is, however, most humidors come with a cedar lining. This is a thin, flat piece of cedar placed inside of the humidor to help maintain humidity and to maintain a tight seal when opening the humidor.

  There are dozens of different type of humidors, from travel humidors that can store 1 to 10/15 cigars (lightweight in leather or plastic) to a desktop that can store anywhere from 20 to 600 cigars! A commercial grade humidor can stock up to 3,000 cigars and is great for collectors and aficionados.

  Glass top humidors allow you to check the cigars without opening it and therefore avoiding a humidity drop. Do not place your glass top humidor under bright lights or direct sunlight as cigars prefer the darkness.
• Humidifier

  The humidifier is the part that will maintain the humidity level in your humidor. Most of the humidors comes with so called "green foam" humidification systems. While it's the most commun humidification system, it works only one way by increasing humidity level but will not lower humidity if necessary. We recommend to update to the latest technologies like the crystals, gel or beads that work both ways and really help maintain 70% humidity in your humidor.
• Hygrometer

  Hygrometers are used to measure the humidity inside your humidor and make sure your cigars are safe at 70% humidity. There are different types: Analog, digital, external, internal, or built-in. Remember to always calibrate your hygrometer before use to make sure the reading is correct.
