The La Galera 85th Anniversary Limited Edition Toro was created to celebrate the founding of the historic Tabacalera Palma factory in the Dominican Republic, which is owned by Jose “Jochy” Blanco. This commemorative cigar is available in two wrappers: a smooth Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper whose blend was developed by Jochy himself. And a rustic USA Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper which was blended by Blanco’s son Jose Manuel Blanco. Both cigars use a Dominican Corojo binder, and a filler made of Criollo ’98 and Dominican Republic Piloto Cubano tobacco. Jochy’s blend has a naturally sweet profile with touches of spice. Jose Manuel’s blend has a leathery profile with hints of spice. Each box comes with 10 cigars of the Connecticut Shade wrapper and 10 of the Broadleaf. Only 2,021 boxes of 20 cigars per box were made of the La Galera 85th Anniversary Limited Edition Toro so order yours today before they are all gone.
