This Lonsdale is rolled in Miami at My Father’s small Doral factory by one master roller, a rarity in today’s cigar world and a hallmark of Pete Johnson’s dedication to craftsmanship. Draped in an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, it was crafted in 2023, aged to perfection, and limited to just 500 boxes. Miami-rolled Tatuajes are coveted for their meticulous construction and for delivering Tatuaje’s signature blend of old-world Cuban tradition with a bold, modern complexity.

  These are the original cigars released by Pete Johnson in 2003 and made in Little Havana, Miami by Cuban master blender Pepin Garcia, then unknown in the United States. Tatuaje Miami is also known as Seleccion del Cazador and Tatuaje Cabinet. The cigars are rolled in classic Cuban tradition with Cuban seed tobacco grown in Nicaragua. They are medium to full in flavor and feature a beautiful Cuban triple-cap.

The "Garcia Family Industrial Park" located in Esteli, Nicaragua is a seven-acre complex with 9 buildings, over 1900 employees, where the Garcias supervise their cigar production from the tobacco field to the roller's table. Their Miami headquarters house 12 rollers that make all of the company's "handmade in Miami" brands.

  Ecuadorian Habano wrapper has become one of the most used cigar wrappers in the market. Grown primarily by the Oliva family, this tobacco originated from Habano or H2000 seeds brought to Ecuador from Cuba. This leaf is rich and flavorful thanks to the temperate climate of Ecuador and the quality of its volcanic soil.

  Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.
