Most cigars and their vitolas are typically named after historical moments, literary works or the cigar crafter’s name. However, the RoMa Craft Neanderthal KFG is named after Kleine Feldhofer Grotte, which is a cave in Germany where the 40,000-year-old fossil remains of a Neanderthal were discovered. The KFG cigar is a medium bodied robusto that sports a savory oily, dark Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper placed over a USA Connecticut Broadleaf binder and a filler composed of USA Pennsylvania, Nicaraguan, and Dominican Republic leaves. Once lit, the KFG offers an invigorating but not overpowering smoking experience with spicy notes and underlying sweetness. The RoMa Craft Neanderthal KFG is handmade in Nicaragua.
