Famous inventor Thomas Edison liked to smoke a stogie while tinkering. Legend has it that his lab assistants liked to steal his cigars. To discourage this unscrupulous practice, Edison came up with a bright idea. He would leave cigars rolled from sawdust in his desk drawer. This way the unsuspecting thief would get a rude awakening when he lit up one of Edison’s “ultra-woodsy” cigars.
