My Father The Judge is a bold, full-bodied Nicaraguan with an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper that brings a rich, spicy edge. It opens with a wave of red pepper and dark chocolate, then settles into cedar, espresso, leather, and a subtle sweetness that keeps things balanced. The pepper never fully goes away, but it mellows into a nice retrohale kick rather than staying sharp. It’s a dense, flavorful smoke with plenty of Nicaraguan character—great when you want something rich and intense without getting sloppy.

Spicy, with accents of almond, burnt toast, and brown sugar. This is a stately cigar featuring reserved flavors befitting its graceful strength. The draw was excellent, while roiling smoke presented itself in densely cathartic plumes. A few touch ups were needed but ultimately negligible. I intend on buying more of these in the future.

A beautiful cigar with a great origin story. One of, if not, the highest Cigar Aficionado scores I’ve ever seen at 98. Solid smoke with a great flavor, makes a great gift too at the price point. As far as value, this is one of the best cigars you can grab.

Great cigar. Perfect construction, draw and burn. Earth and toasted woody notes with a really enjoyable sweet cream element. Highly recommend.
