The Fortis Gran Reserva Habano is a premium Nicaraguan cigar crafted at the world-famous Tabacalera AJ Fernandez in Esteli, Nicaragua. This cigar deviates from what Fortis is typically known for, i.e, full strength and full flavor; their new Habano release takes the flavor intensity down a notch while leaving the strength that fans of the brand have come to expect. The blend features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers. Corojo ’99, Criollo ’98, and hybrid ligero leaves are used to deliver nuanced flavor with solid mid-body presence.

Grown primarily by the Oliva family, this tobacco originated from Habano or H2000 seeds brought to Ecuador from Cuba. This leaf is rich and flavorful thanks to the temperate climate of Ecuador and the quality of its volcanic soil.
