  The original Punch cigar was created in 1840 by a Cuban cigar manufacturer named Manuel Lopez. In an effort to attract the British market, he named the cigar after Mr. Punch of the Punch and Judy puppet shows. Produced in Honduras under the direction of Cuban cigar master Frank Llaneza, Punch has been a leading premium brand since 1969.

  The Punch brand has been crafting legendary cigars for more than a century. The Punch Knuckle Buster is a wallet-friendly stick that is part of this storied brand’s portfolio, and it’s a knock-out. Touted as the “hardworking blend for hardworking people,” the Knuckle Buster is a great everyday cigar that’s packed with flavor but won’t break the bank. Handmade in Honduras, this medium strength stick sports a dark, Nicaraguan Habano maduro wrapper and binder that combines with a filler made of Nicaraguan and Honduran Habano tobaccos to deliver a nutty, earthy, and woodsy profile.

  Punch Signature

  Punch Signature, the new version of Punch launched in 2015, features an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper with a Nicaraguan binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. It's a bolder, fuller bodied version of Punch. The wrapper of the Punch Signature is grown in the Los Rios province of Ecuador, an area nestled between two volcanic mountains, which yields exquisite tobacco with exceptional burn and taste. This wrapper has never been used before in any other cigar.

  Honduras, a Central American country which shares a border with Nicaragua, is widely known in the premium cigar industry as the ideal place to grow Cuban and Connecticut seed tobaccos. Danli and the Jamastran Valley is considered the heart of Honduras’ cigar industry. The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.
