Description
This is a flavorful full-bodied cigar that offers spicy and coffee notes. Its Brazilian Habano wrapper covers a Nicaraguan binder and a filler from Honduras, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. This exquisite blend was created by AJ Fernandez, a third generation Cuban cigar crafter who resurrected his grandfather’s brand. The San Lotano Requiem Habano Gran Toro is handmade in Nicaragua.

I’m a huge AJF fan, but this one just isn’t my jive. Very spicy and peppery….and that’s all I picked up through the entire stick. Very one dimensional. Not bad, just not my thing. Cap was peeling and ash didn’t hold well. Definitely prefer the San Lotano Connecticut Broadleaf.

Good stick, hefty, worth every moment - let it sit out and acclimate to the room before you light it up - and then go to town!
