  EP Carrillo Encore

  The second in EP Carrillo's Family Series, the Encore is a medium to full-bodied 100% Nicaraguan puro with a very special secret. The tobacco used in making this cigar is cured and aged in "tercios", which is when yagua (palm tree bark) is wrapped around the tobacco to create bales that are then aged for 2 years. This process allows a natural two-way humidification system to form; humidity is automatically exchanged between the yagua and the tobacco as needed, letting the tobacco breathe optimally and age in the most desirable way. Notes of rich earth and tinges of both sweetness and spice come together to provide a smooth and sophisticated smoke you'll crave again and again.   EP Carrillo La Historia

  The second of EP Carrillo’s 2014 new cigar releases, La Historia is born from an inspiration of the Carillo’s family history as cigar makers. This superior box pressed cigar has a chocolate colored Mexican San Andres wrapper, an Ecuadorean Sumatra binder and filler from Nicaragua. EP Carrillo La Historia is medium to full bodied with hints of dark chocolate, leather, black pepper and coffee, and a creamy long finish.

  The EP Carrillo Pledge is the third release in the highly rated Perez-Carrillo Series, which includes the La Historia and pays tribute to the Perez-Carrillo family’s history in the tobacco industry, and the Encore, which was dedicated to Carrillo’s grandchildren.
