The Diesel Sunday Gravy San Marzano is a seasonal release cigar that offers a full-bodied smoking experience at a wallet-friendly price. This limited-edition toro features a delectable Ecuadorian wrapper that sheaths a binder from Esteli, Nicaragua, and a filler from Jalapa, Nicaragua. Once lit, this medium to full-strength, small batch cigar offers spicy, leathery and coffee notes accompanied by a smooth creaminess. The blend for the San Marzano was developed by master cigar blender AJ Fernandez and Justin Andrews, Diesel’s Senior Brand Manager. The cigars are crafted at AJ’s Tabacalera Fernandez factory in Nicaragua. The Diesel Sunday Gravy is a quarterly release line that was inspired by the big pot, slow cooking methods grandma used when making the “Sunday Gravy” or “Sunday Sauce.”

  Back in great-grandma and grandma’s day, the family matriarchs would gather on an early Sunday morning and start prepping and slow cooking the old family recipe for the “Sunday Sauce” or “Sunday Gravy.” It was a meticulous process that could not be rushed. Much like crafting a memorable cigar. The Diesel Sunday Gravy is a limited-edition, seasonal release cigar that was inspired by this time-honored home-cooking tradition. Each quarterly release features a new blend and a new size. The Sunday Gravy is the first Diesel cigar to be offered by the Forge Cigar Company (which is part of Scandinavian Tobacco Group who also owns General Cigar Co.) The blends were developed by master cigar blender AJ Fernandez and Justin Andrews, Diesel’s Senior Brand Manager. The cigars are crafted at AJ’s Tabacalera Fernandez factory in Nicaragua.
