The Cubo Sumatra Robusto is part of the first cigar line released by the Dapper Cigar Co. when this fledging boutique cigar crafter was founded back in 2013. This medium-strength cigar sports an alluring reddish Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed Colorado wrapper deftly placed over a Nicaraguan binder and a filler composed of USA Connecticut Broadleaf and Nicaraguan leaves. Once lit, this carefully selected blend provides a complex smoking indulgence with earthy, peppery, chocolatey and cedar notes as well as a notable earthy and spicy retro-hale. The Cubo Sumatra is handmade in Nicaragua.

  Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.
