Camacho Blackout Robusto is Camacho’s limited edition run for their brand re-launch under the Davidoff name. This hand rolled robusto is a blend of different vintage tobaccos from some of the best tobacco producing countries in the world. The wrapper is a Honduran vintage from 2006, the binder is a Nicaraguan vintage from 2009, and the filler is a delicious blend of Honduran, Nicaraguan & Brazilian vintages from 2003, 2008, and 2009. This combination of vintage tobaccos delivers a creamy smooth smoke filled with notes of nuttiness, espresso, cedar, pepper, and dark chocolate. This delicious rebirth of the Camacho name will only be here for a short time so pick it up while you can.

  Camacho Blackout is a limited edition cigar released by Davidoff in 2013 with a 2006 vintage Honduran wrapper from the top priming of the tobacco plant, an aged Nicaraguan binder from 2009, and aged fillers from Honduras (2003), Nicaragua (2008) and Brazil (2009).  The tobacco for the wrapper has been press-fermented for a very dark. oily result. Only 5,000 boxes of 20 cigars produced.

  Honduras, a Central American country which shares a border with Nicaragua, is widely known in the premium cigar industry as the ideal place to grow Cuban and Connecticut seed tobaccos. Danli and the Jamastran Valley is considered the heart of Honduras’ cigar industry. The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.

  Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.
