As its name implies, sun grown tobacco is grown in direct sunlight, usually for much longer times than regular tobacco leaves. Sun grown leaves are thicker and darker than leaves that don’t get as much exposure to the sun. They also tend to be sugary, which gives them a sweeter profile.
