How can you tell if your cigar's wrapper is dry? Roll it in your fingertips and listen for crackling. It will sound like dry leaves. If this is the case, you might want to put it back in your humidor. If this is a constant issue, check that your humidor's humidity level is between 68% and 72% humidity. You might to need to calibrate your hygrometer or switch to a digital hygrometer (Cigar Scanner Hygrometer link). Make sure your humidifier is serviced and working properly. Also, your humidor might have not be closing tightly.
