The Oscar Valladares Ciseron cigar is named after the famed Honduran artist Elmer Ciseron Bautista. A medium-strength Toro, the Ciseron Purple features an Ecuadorian natural wrapper that is artistically draped over a binder and filler made of Nicaraguan tobacco. The Ciseron Purple is medium-bodied with notes of wood, nuts, wheat, and cocoa.

  Honduran artist Elmer Ciseron Bautista is an acclaimed talent that has had his work featured in over 30 exhibitions around the globe since 1991, and is now bestowing his abilities upon the new Oscar Valladares Ciseron. Known for his huge breakout hit 'Leaf', Oscar's latest line is the first to not contain Honduran tobacco, instead opting for an oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper on top of premium Nicaraguan binder and filler. The result is nothing short of extraordinary, with a delectable blend being showcased alongside Elmer Ciseron's unique artwork designed specifically for this release. There will be five separate designs to choose from, but with only 500 boxes of each style being produced, time is certainly of the essence.

The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.

The weather conditions, with a nearly permanent cloudy sky, provide a natural shade, protecting the wrapper plants from sunshine and allowing the tobacco to grow thin and light. Ecuador supplies Connecticut and Sumatra type wrappers to many cigar factory in the world.

  Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.
