Camacho BG Meyer Gigantes is the follow up to Camacho BG Meyer Standard Issue. The medium to full BG Meyer Gigantes are handmade in Honduras with a Nicaraguan Habano 2007 wrapper, 6 year old Brazilian Mata Fina binder, and aged Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. BG Meyer brand owner, Rob Weiss, was a producer and writer on HBO's Entourage and an executive producer on HBO's TV show Ballers, filmed in Miami, Florida. The box insert shows the silhouette of Rob Weiss and his Rottweiller, whose name is Big Meyer.

  Rob Weiss is part of what Camacho calls The Board of the Bold, a group of renowned people (Mike Ditka and Matt Booth also belong) who have been making cigars under the Camacho name. Weiss is famous for his writer/producer role in the HBO series Entourage and Ballers. BG Meyer Gigantes uses a blend of aged tobacco: a 2007 Nicaraguan Habano wrapper, 6 year old Brazilian Mata fina binder and 6 year old fillers from Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.

  Honduras, a Central American country which shares a border with Nicaragua, is widely known in the premium cigar industry as the ideal place to grow Cuban and Connecticut seed tobaccos. Danli and the Jamastran Valley is considered the heart of Honduras’ cigar industry. The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.

  The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
  Nicaraguan cigar wrappers are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Wrappers grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro wrappers are all produced in Nicaragua.

  Brazil grows tobacco from North to South. The East Central State of Bahia is an important cigar tobacco producer. The growing area is about 100 miles west of the state capital, Salvador da Bahia, an active port on the Atlantic Coast. Mata Fina is considered Brazil's finest leaf and is grown in the Bahia region.
