To commemorate, Acid cigar’s 20th Anniversary, Drew Estate commissioned five of Brooklyn’s most recognized graffiti artists to decorate Acid’s iconic Water Tower style cigar box for their Kuba Arte’s limited-edition cigars. The Acid Kuba Arte Keo #2 is a medium-strength torpedo that features a USA Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper that artfully cloaks an Indonesian binder, which houses a premium Nicaraguan filler. The Kuba Arte cigar has an excellent construction with a flawless draw, and is packed with flavor. The Acid Kuba Arte Keo #2 is named after KEO aka SCOTCH70 who is known for his “old school” style of graffiti.

  Featuring the darkest color found in cigar wrappers, maduro leaves are dark brown to almost black in color, and come from the primings furthest up on the plant. Although somewhat intimidating in appearance, do not assume that all maduros are super strong - many can be milder than other types of wrappers, as well as naturally sweeter.

  Connecticut Broadleaf is grown in the United States' Connecticut Valley and is prized for its dark, oily, full flavored and aromatic characteristics. The plants are grown in full sun giving this cigar wrapper its characteristic sweetness. The Connecticut Broadleaf plant leaves are mainly processed as maduro tobacco. Today, Connecticut Broadleaf seeds are being grown in other countries besides the United States.
