The Carlos A. Fuente Commemorative Humidor celebrates this century old brand’s legendary history of creating one memorable cigar after another. Its beautiful all-wood exterior is appointed with fine leather on the front and lid. An awe-inspiring plaque, which graphically tells the Fuente family’s rich history in the cigar business, gracefully rests on top of the lid. To protect your precious premiums, the humidor has a built-in lock that can only be opened with a skeleton key. Its interior is lined with cedar and designed to hold up to 150 Churchill sized cigars. Plus, a secret compartment allows you to store an additional 10 cigars. It can only be opened by pressing down on a gold piece that features the thumbprint of Carlos Arturo Fuente Sr. This must-have humidor comes with one tray, one divider and a humidifier. The Carlos A. Since cigars vary significantly in size and shape, we use Churchill sized cigars (7" x 50) when calculating humidor capacity. Remember capacity is the MAXIMUM of cigars that can fit in the humidor.   Cedar has been used for many centuries in boats and in high-humidity environments, as it is famous for staying flat and not warping under high humidity conditions. All cedar humidors are rare because of how costly this wood is, however, most humidors come with a cedar lining. This is a thin, flat piece of cedar placed inside of the humidor to help maintain humidity and to maintain a tight seal when opening the humidor.

  The humidifier is the part that will maintain the humidity level in your humidor. Most of the humidors comes with so called "green foam" humidification systems. While it's the most commun humidification system, it works only one way by increasing humidity level but will not lower humidity if necessary. We recommend to update to the latest technologies like the crystals, gel or beads that work both ways and really help maintain 70% humidity in your humidor.
