HOYO by Hoyo de Monterrey is a revamped version of the world-famed Hoyo de Monterrey brand. Made at the Honduras American Tabaco factory, this bolder version features a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper that is shade grown in Esteli, an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and fillers from USA (Pennsylvania), and Nicaragua (Esteli and the rare Ometepe).

The Robusto is a short Churchill size, traditionally 5 to 5.5 inches by a 50 ring gauge.

Ecuador Sumatra tobacco is made from Sumatra-seeds that been cultivated in Ecuador, one of the most ideal locations for growing tobacco. The leaves tend to be dark and rich in flavor.

Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.
