  The Diesel Atonement is a limited-edition cigar that was created as an exclusive release for members of the Tobacconist’s Association of America (TAA). The cigar features a leathery, oily, dark Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed wrapper that covers a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and a Nicaraguan filler. This is a bold, peppery smoke that is balanced by an underlying sweetness. The blend was developed by legendary cigar crafter AJ Fernandez. The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua at the Tabacalera Fernandez factory. The TAA is a group of the top tobacconists in the nation. It consists of about 80 retailers and 40 manufacturers, which Neptune Cigars is a proud member of.

  USA Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco is grown in the Connecticut River Valley area. The soil in this region is of glacial origins. The tobacco is dark, oily, flavorful, and aromatic. It is used primarily as a maduro wrapper, but it also serves as an excellent binder.
