The Year of the Dragon cigar is the first time Rocky Patel has released a cigar to celebrate the Chinese New Year (aka the Lunar New Year), which is based on the Chinese Zodiac. This limited-edition cigar sports a mouthwatering Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper draped over a dual-binder made of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobacco, which adds complexity to the cigar’s profile. Its all-Nicaraguan filler was grown on farms owned by Rocky Patel. The tobaccos for the blend have been aged since 2014 which provides a refined and sophisticated smoking experience. This medium to full-bodied, balanced smoke offers a rich complexity and a long satisfying finish. The cigars are handmade at Patel’s Tavicusa factory in Nicaragua.
