Groucho Marx

Groucho Marx rarely lit his cigars. Known for starring in such comedy classics as “Duck Soup,” “Horse Feathers,” and “A Night at the Opera,” Groucho was rarely seen without a stogie in his mouth, but for the most part the cigar was unlit. He didn’t light up because it was difficult to match the cigar as it burned between takes, which would disrupt the film’s continuity. In private, Groucho did enjoy his cigars, he was particularly fond of Dunhill cigars.
