A full-bodied smoke with deep, rich notes of dark chocolate, earth, leather, and spice. Its oily USA Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper covers a Mexican San Andres binder, and a Nicaraguan and Honduran filler. The Tabernacle is handmade at AJ Fernandez’s Tabacalera Fernandez factory in Nicaragua.

The original Tabernacle is a beast in the best way. Dark chocolate and espresso right off the bat, then the pepper and earth really come alive in the second half. There’s a molasses-like sweetness underneath that keeps it from getting bitter, and the San Andrés binder adds this chewy, savory depth. It’s full-bodied but never sloppy—just rich, dense, and satisfying all the way down. One of the better Broadleaf cigars out there.

A higher-end cigar that definitely competes with some of the best when it comes to flavor and consistency. Great construction, a solid burn, and a rich, enjoyable profile from start to finish. This is a cigar that delivers the quality you expect when spending a little more. Definitely one worth having in the humidor. ????
