  Rocky Patel Number 6

  The Rocky Patel Number 6 is a medium strength cigar that is hand rolled in Honduras. It sports an oily Honduran Corojo maduro wrapper draped over a Honduran binder and a filler composed of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos. The Rocky Patel Number 6 offers up notes of coffee, earth, and vanilla. It is considered the sweetest cigar that has ever been released by Rocky Patel.

His cigars are the result of blending tobaccos from various regions to produce the perfect blend, and a marked emphasis on quality control. The Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 was the first cigar to bear the Rocky Patel name. Smooth, well-balanced and nutty, this cigar is made with 12 year old Honduran broadleaf wrapper. The Vintage 1990 has been rated 92 by Cigar Aficionado and twice featured in the magazine's "Top 25 Cigars of the Year".

  Honduras, a Central American country which shares a border with Nicaragua, is widely known in the premium cigar industry as the ideal place to grow Cuban and Connecticut seed tobaccos. Danli and the Jamastran Valley is considered the heart of Honduras’ cigar industry. The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.
