  The original Punch cigar was created in 1840 by a Cuban cigar manufacturer named Manuel Lopez. In an effort to attract the British market, he named the cigar after Mr. Punch of the Punch and Judy puppet shows. Produced in Honduras under the direction of Cuban cigar master Frank Llaneza, Punch has been a leading premium brand since 1969.

  Punch Diablo

  According to Ed Lahmann, Senior Brand Manager for Punch, “When it came time to select the blend for Diablo, we decided that we wanted to make the fullest-bodied Punch to date.” Mission accomplished! The Punch Diablo is handmade for the General Cigar Company in Nicaragua at the world-famous AJ Fernandez Cigars factory. The Punch Diablo’s oscuro Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper has been aged for four years. Underneath the wrapper is a six-year old Connecticut broadleaf binder which contains a Nicaraguan Habano and Honduran Habano filler that has been aged for four years. All of these fine tobaccos have banded together to make the Punch Diablo a full-bodied, full-strength cigar that creates a devilishly, spicy smoking experience.

  The Punch Gran Puro is an affordable, medium-bodied Honduran puro manufactured by General Cigars. Featuring a Colorado Maduro wrapper, creamy notes of earth and cedar flood the palate, with the trademark Honduran spice appearing in full force. When you add the expert construction and consistency you've come to expect from Punch, there's no surprise that the Gran Puro has become a constant resident in cigar aficionados' humidors for decades.

  Punch Grand Cru Maduro

  The Punch Gran Cru Maduro is a medium-bodied premium Honduran cigar which is often called the pride of the Punch catalog. Consisting of a USA Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper and binder with fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras, the Punch Grand Cru Maduro is a solid and well-balanced smoke, with notes of coffee, cedar and just the right amount of spice rounding out its complex yet smooth profile.
