A very enjoyable Punch in this long 6¾ × 48 format. Draw and burn were excellent all the way through, making it an easy cigar to enjoy without having to care about construction. It started with a good hike of peppery spice, which quickly settled down but never really disappeared, staying underneath the other flavors for most of the smoke. Cedar, leather and black cocoa were the main notes for me, together with a very nice taste and feel from the natural wrapper. Nothing overly complicated here, but a solid, darker profile that worked very well. I would call it medium to full. It starts quite controlled but slowly gains strength, especially toward the end, where the Punch definitely shows more muscle. Not a cigar that needs to surprise you every ten minutes. Good flavors, excellent construction and enough strength building along the way to keep it interesting. A very satisfying long smoke.

My second Punch cigar with major draw problems. There won’t be a third. Too bad as the aroma and taste seemed decent from what little the draw provided. Bad construction. Very dissatisfying.
