Each sampler comes with five (5) La Galera Connecticut and five (5) La Galera Habano cigars. And each blend is presented in five different sizes. The La Galera Connecticut is a mild to medium cigar that sports a gorgeous, golden-brown Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper, and it is an excellent choice as an everyday cigar. The La Galera Habano is a medium-bodied smoke that features a beautiful coppery Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and will please your palate from first puff to last. All ten cigars are nested in a collectible box. The La Galera Exclusive 10-Cigar Sampler comes with one (1) of the following sizes for each blend:

Brought to you by respected industry veteran Jochy Blanco, La Galera Habano is a medium-bodied Dominican cigar featuring a beautiful copper-colored Ecuadorian Habano wrapper on top of a Dominican Corojo binder and a luscious mix of Dominican Piloto Cubano, Criollo 98 and Pelo de Oro fillers. Containing creamy notes of cedar, coffee and caramel, this rich blend will continue to evolve and impress until the very last puff. “La Galera” means “the rolling room” in Spanish.

Most factories are located in Santiago, in the center of the island, and in close proximity to the tobacco fields grown in the fertile Cibao Valley. Tabacalera Palma is a family owned and operated cigar factory that is headed by Jose “Jochy” Blanco, a third-generation tobacco grower and cigar crafter. The factory is located in the La Palma free trade zone, which is in the Cibao Valley in the Dominican Republic. It is considered one of the oldest tobacco companies in the Dominican Republic. Tabacalera Palma makes cigars for a large number of companies as well as their own brands such as La Galera, Aging Room, La Instructora, and Sans Pareil.

Ecuador is the perfect place to grow wrappers, because it is located on the Equator! And it has rich soils too. Ecuador supplies Connecticut and Sumatra type wrappers to many cigar factory in the world.

Piloto Cubano is full bodied while the Dominican Olor tobacco is milder but more aromatic.
