Description

The Casdagli Brothers of the Sabre Vater opens with refined notes of cedar, roasted nuts, earth, and gentle spice, making for an approachable, smooth, and balanced profile. Medium-bodied and elegant, it delivers a layered smoking experience with a clean finish and a sophisticated blend of flavors.

Part of Casdagli’s Brothers of the Sabre Series, Vater pays tribute to Austrian Field Marshal Johann Radetzky von Radetz, a military figure known as “Vater” by his troops and recognized for his role in the Battle of Leipzig. Produced at the Kelner Boutique Factory in the Dominican Republic, the cigar features an Ecuadorian wrapper over a Dominican binder with fillers from the Dominican Republic, the United States, and, interestingly enough, Zimbabwe. A thoughtful blend created for enthusiasts who appreciate history, storytelling, and distinctive tobacco.

The Casdagli Brothers of the Sabre cigar line was inspired by the generals who valiantly served under Napolean Bonaparte. Besides being fearless leaders and known for wielding their sabers in battle, the generals were fond of cigars. The blend and flavor profile for the cigars were meticulously crafted to capture the leadership and fighting spirit of these military leaders. The cigars are masterfully hand crafted at the Kelner Boutique Factory in the Dominican Republic.

Established in 2012, the Kelner Boutique Factory (KBF) was founded in the Dominican Republic by Hendrik Kelner, Jr., who is the son of Hendrick “Henke” Kelner, Davidoff’s Master Blender. KBF manufactures cigars for Casdagli Cigars (formerly known as Bespoke Cigars). They also produce the Smoking Jacket Cigars, which is their own brand.
