Warm notes of dark chocolate, oak, and espresso will greet your palate as you enjoy this medium to full bodied cigar.  A rustic, dark brown Ecuadorian maduro wrapper covers a Dominican binder and filler leaves from the Dominican Republic, USA, and Zimbabwe. Tobacco from Zimbabwe is very rare, and when blended with the other filler leaves adds a subtle heartiness to the cigar’s overall profile. The Casdagli Brothers of the Sabre Forrader cigar is blended and handmade in the Dominican Republic at the Kelner Boutique Factory. The Forrader cigar line is named after General Field Marshal Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher of Prussia. He was known for his aggressive tactics in battle and was dubbed Marschall Vorwärts ("Marshal Forward") by the men who served under him.

  The Casdagli Brothers of the Sabre cigar line was inspired by the generals who valiantly served under Napolean Bonaparte. Besides being fearless leaders and known for wielding their sabers in battle, the generals were fond of cigars. The blend and flavor profile for the cigars were meticulously crafted to capture the leadership and fighting spirit of these military leaders. The cigars are masterfully hand crafted at the Kelner Boutique Factory in the Dominican Republic.

  Established in 2012, the Kelner Boutique Factory (KBF) was founded in the Dominican Republic by Hendrik Kelner, Jr., who is the son of Hendrick “Henke” Kelner, Davidoff’s Master Blender. KBF manufactures cigars for Casdagli Cigars (formerly known as Bespoke Cigars). They also produce the Smoking Jacket Cigars, which is their own brand.

  Ecuador is the perfect place to grow wrappers, because it is located on the Equator! And it has rich soils too. The weather conditions, with a nearly permanent cloudy sky, provide a natural shade, protecting the wrapper plants from sunshine and allowing the tobacco to grow thin and light. Ecuador supplies Connecticut and Sumatra type wrappers to many cigar factory in the world.

  Dominican Republic is a traditional tobacco-growing country. In the 60's, a Cuban seed was introduced and the resulting tobacco, called Piloto Cubano, became famous as a good substitute of the Cuban tobacco that was no longer allowed to enter the USA. Piloto Cubano is full bodied while the Dominican Olor tobacco is milder but more aromatic.
