Description
A potent smoke with a deep complexity highlighted by notes of sweetness, chocolate, floral, and spice round out this premium cigar’s traditional flavor profile. This Nicaraguan puro’s red-hued Corojo wrapper covers a Criollo binder and filler leaves from Jalapa and Condega. The Arsenio was created to honor Aresenio Ramos a gifted Cuban blender who spearheaded Aganorsa Leaf’s factory. It is considered Ramos’s preferred blend and displays his expertise in developing a memorable cigar. The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua using tobaccos grown on Aganorsa Leaf farms.

I think this blend works best in toro.

I enjoyed the original Arsenio quite a bit and was bummed to see it discontinued. Thankfully they more than made up for it with this blend and honored the man that made Aganorsa what it is today phenomenally.

Bold and flavorful. Didn't care much for the foot band it was little difficult to remove. Overall good cigar.

Just a few puffs in and I already knew I had a winner. This was recommended to my by Mo from the Fort Lauderdale Store. Wow. What an amazing smoke.

The Aganorsa Leaf Arsenio Toro is a Nicaraguan puro that features a striking, reddish Corojo wrapper. The construction is excellent, with a firm feel, a smooth draw and a sharp burn. From the first puff, the flavor profile reveals an intriguing complexity. Sweetness dominates the profile, complemented by rich undertones of chocolate along with subtle hints of spice. Floral notes round out the flavor profile, lending an aromatic character that is both surprising and satisfying. The ash holds well and has a salt-and-pepper hue. Smoke output falls between thick and thin. Strength-wise, this toro hits the sweet spot, between medium and full, which is perfect for novices wishing to extend their smoking portfolio. Pairs well with espresso or coffee (black no sugar). In summary, this is a balanced, enjoyable cigar with rich, layered flavors, excellent construction, and a medium-full strength that offers satisfying complexity without overwhelming. A fantastic choice for those looking to experience a well-crafted Nicaraguan puro.

The flavors are really good and the changes throughout were excellent and exciting. What was not good was the draw and burn. I did have to do multiple puffs to get it going and get a draw. Not good. Burn was not good either. Im a firm believer that you have to smoke at least three to get a good judgement and know that unfortunately you will get the one that is not so great. As far as flavors go it was excellent. Floral, chocolaty and soft spice. The experience was diminished because of draw and burn issues.

Very, very good stick with typical Aganorsa flavors. Similar to AL Signature Selection but not as spicy or strong. Still prefer the Rare Leaf for its bolder flavor and spice, but glad I tried
