Making the Cut

Cutting a cigar below the cap is a great way to have your premium stick unravel. This is not a good thing. To avoid over-cutting, here’s a quick tip. Hold your cigar with the foot pointing down. Now look for several horizontal lines around the perimeter of the cigar’s head. These lines represent where the wrapper has been overlapped to hold it together. Avoid cutting down this far. You only want to cut the cap. Looking for a new cigar cutter?
