Byron Ellis  I got this hygrometer along with the 120-cigar Venetian Beveled Glass humidor and the hygrometer that comes with it. I calibrated the built in hygrometer per your on line video (excellent video i might add) and it reads a solid 70% while the this hygrometer never reads above 66% and consistently 64 -65. Any ideas? Is the XIKAR not properly set?

  • Byron Ellis  I did nothing to the XIKAR. The Analog hygromter, which reads 70% was set in the zip lock bag and damp salt cap for 12 hours.

  • NeptuneCigar.com  Although the XIKAR Digital Hygrometers come pre-calibrated and chamber tested, it can be good to test the accuracy on these as well.
