All cedar humidors are rare because of how costly this wood is, however, most humidors come with a cedar lining. This is a thin, flat piece of cedar placed inside of the humidor to help maintain humidity and to maintain a tight seal when opening the humidor.

  The humidifier is the part that will maintain the humidity level in your humidor. Most of the humidors comes with so called "green foam" humidification systems. While it's the most commun humidification system, it works only one way by increasing humidity level but will not lower humidity if necessary. We recommend to update to the latest technologies like the crystals, gel or beads that work both ways and really help maintain 70% humidity in your humidor.
