The cigar is an all-Nicaraguan puro that sports a Corojo wrapper. When developing the blend for The Wise Man Corojo, Foundation Cigars drew upon the story of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba who gave birth to Menelik, The Wise Man. According to Foundation Cigars, it is a “tale of heritage, wisdom, and cultural richness,” and it forms the soul of this cigar line.

The Robusto is a short Churchill size, traditionally 5 to 5.5 inches by a 50 ring gauge.

Nicaraguan Corojo '99 tobacco originated as a wrapper leaf in 1999 in Cuba. The seeds of the original Corojo '99 seed were planted in Ecuador, and these in turn were transplanted to Nicaragua. The leaf is appreciated for its excellent wrapper qualities and spiciness.
