This medium strength cigar offers a complex but balanced smoking experience that will satisfy both veteran and novice aficionados. Its bold Ecuadorian Habano wrapper covers a contrastingly light Ecuadorian Connecticut binder, and fillers from Nicaragua. The blend was developed by John Huber of Crowned Heads in collaboration with Eradio Pichardo’s D’Hatuey Tabacos S.A. factory in Estelí, the same one that produces the Juárez and Mil Días lines for Crowned Heads. The Crowned Heads TAA Exclusive 2025 is only available through members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA), of which Neptune Cigars is a proud member. The Crowned Heads TAA Exclusive 2024 is the tenth cigar the company has made for the Tobacconists' Association of America (TAA). Unlike past releases with names like "The Angel’s Anvil" and "The Lost Angel," this one keeps it simple. It’s made at Casa Carrillo in the Dominican Republic and comes in a 6¼ x 50 size. The cigar uses an Ecuadorian HVA wrapper, an Ecuadorian binder, and fillers from Nicaragua and Pennsylvania broadleaf. Only 500 boxes of 20 cigars were made, making it a limited and special release.

Grown primarily by the Oliva family, this tobacco originated from Habano or H2000 seeds brought to Ecuador from Cuba. This leaf is rich and flavorful thanks to the temperate climate of Ecuador and the quality of its volcanic soil.

The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Due to almost permanent cloudy skies, which provide a natural shade, Ecuador is the ideal place to grow Connecticut shade tobacco. The cloud cover allows the tobacco to grown without shade cloths, which reduces its production costs. Ecuadorian Connecticut shade grown is typically used for wrappers and binders.

Firm construction, a bit of a tight draw that loosened up some once it got going. Even burn with no touchups needed. Medium bodied with lots of thick, creamy smoke output and flavors of woodsy oak, leather, and roasted nuts.
