Personally, I loved it! But... I agree; if your looking for the traditional Te Amo, try the brand's World Selection Mexican Blend; a very strong, oscuro. This one is milder but not bland. Tastes of cedar, honey, nuts and white pepper. Great to pair it with coffee, rum, bourbon or añejo tequila. Go for the toro vitola. Great price to boot!

Impressive cigar. Kinda reminds me of a cheaper version of an Oliva Connecticut with a slight sweetness and slight peppery. Taste, smell, draw, construction were all pretty good.

Perhaps my memory has faded but this is not the level of flavor and aroma as the original. It was a good smoke and is well constructed. Just seemed a tad bland compared to my memory of the original.

I'd say the robusto is the one to get.The toro version didn't shine as bright.

My first with this cigar. Almost perfect burn, medium draw. Nice hit of spice at first and mellows. Good flavor for entire smoke. Will buy again.

Nice construction and burn, brand has a great story but I felt the flavors didn't live up to the hype. Lots of earth, minerals, lacked complexity and stand out flavors.

would buy again

Its one of the best cigars I have had, It has all the elements that a good cigar has to have in my opinion. The look, the taste and feel makes this cigar one of the best cigars giving a full experience of a quality cigar. I will wish they would have kept the original logo and not change it, also the burning could last longer and the price almost double since they discontinued the red label but overall it still is on the top 3 cigars I like.
