Its warm-tan Dominican wrapper covers a Dominican binder and filler leaves from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Hendrik Kelner Jr. created the cigar in honor of his father and master blender Hendrik “Henkie” Kelner, and his family’s history in the cigar industry. This “Mini-Henkie” vitola reflects the cigars Hendrik is smoking in his older age, as opposed to the original Henkie, which reflects the ones he smoked in his youth.   Established in 2012, the Kelner Boutique Factory (KBF) was founded in the Dominican Republic by Hendrik Kelner, Jr., who is the son of Hendrick “Henke” Kelner, Davidoff’s Master Blender. KBF manufactures cigars for Casdagli Cigars (formerly known as Bespoke Cigars). They also produce the Smoking Jacket Cigars, which is their own brand.
