The Saint Luis Rey Carenas Belicoso is a medium bodied torpedo that pays tribute to “Puerto Carenas,” which was the 16th Century name of what is now known as the Port of Havana in Cuba. The historic port was where Cuban tobacco left its island homeland and headed to Spain to be rolled into cigars. The cigar’s oily, natural Nicaraguan wrapper covers a Honduran binder and filler. The Carenas is a flavorful cigar with earthy, spicy, salty notes, and a smooth, effortless draw. The Saint Luis Carenas is handmade in Honduras.
