At the IPCPR show in 2011, Rocky Patel showed off his most expensive cigar to date, the Rocky Patel Fifty. Produced tocommemorate his fiftieth birthday, the Fiftys are rolled in Rocky’s new factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, Tabacalera Villa Cuba S.A., better known as TAVICUSA. The tobacco used in the Fifty release have been aged over eight years and the blend uses a double binder as well. Rocky worked for over four years perfecting the blend of this cigar, and we are launching it to celebrate his 50th birthday. The tobaccos in the Rocky Patel Fifty have been aged over eight years, and the cigars feature an Ecuadorian wrapper, each hand selected from the unique 7th priming of the tobacco plant. The cigars feature two distinct binders that both enhance, and engage, the flavors of the secret blend of Nicaraguan fillers.

The standard Toro shape is 6 inches by 50 ring gauge.

A box pressed cigar is a cigar that has a square shape. Originally, this shape came from the practice of packing round cigars tightly in cardboard boxes which are then compacted using a manual press. The cigars are thus pressed into each other and become a "squarish" or semi-square shape. Today, cigar makers use square shaped molds or a wooden trunk press for their box pressed cigars, achieving a more defined square section.

This cigar is 6"1/2 inches long, or 165.1 mm.

Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.

Tobacco has been a force of social stability, and the country is now one of the principal exporters of premium cigars in the world.

The cigar ring gauge corresponds to the diameter of a cigar, this cigar has a ring gauge of 52, so his diameter is 52/64 inches or 20.57 mm.

Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.
Colorado maduro wrapper is milk chocolate brown.

Handmade cigars are completely made by hand from start to finish.

Located in Esteli, Nicaragua, the Tabacalera Villa Cuba S.A. (aka TAVICUSA) factory is owned by Rocky Patel. The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Ecuadorian Habano wrapper has become one of the most used cigar wrappers in the market. Grown primarily by the Oliva family, this tobacco originated from Habano or H2000 seeds brought to Ecuador from Cuba. This leaf is rich and flavorful thanks to the temperate climate of Ecuador and the quality of its volcanic soil.

The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together. 
Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.

Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.
