  Plasencia Alma Del Campo

  The second release in Plasencia's premium Alma series, the Alma del Campo is a Nicaraguan cigar with a medium-full body yet completely full-flavored blend. Harmoniously merging coffee, spice, and cream notes, you can expect a delicious bouquet of flavors and an easy, open draw that practically allows the cigar to smoke itself. Expertly constructed, the sheer beauty of how the Alma del Campo looks, feels, burns and tastes will have you constantly staring at the cigar in wonder as you make your way down to the very last inch.

  Plasencia Alma del Fuego

  The Plasencia Alma del Fuego (Spanish for Soul of Fire) captures the passion and strength of Nicaraguan tobacco. A Nicaraguan puro, the Alma del Fuego’s binder and filler is composed primarily of tobacco that is grown on the island of Ometepe, which was formed by two volcanos. Volcanic soil along with the right climate conditions is ideal for growing tobacco. The island of Ometepe sits in the middle of Lake Nicaragua. Ometepe tobacco is known for its strength. Thus the name Alma del Fuego. However, its strength is tempered with a delicious sweetness that is accented with spicy, nutty, and citrusy notes.

  Plasencia Alma Fuerte

  The Plasencia family has been growing tobacco for five generations, own three major factories in Nicaragua and make cigars for almost everyone in the industry. Plasencia Alma Rosa is their first brand out of their new Plasencia 1865 company, and they come with a powerful blend made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco. The medium to full bodied cigar uses selected, carefully aged Criollo '98 tobacco from Esteli, Condega, Jalapa and Ometepe. Each box comes with a lid that when flipped around has a branded pewter insert over the wood and doubles as an ashtray.

  Plasencia Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro

  The Plasencia Alma Fuerte Natural is hand crafted in Nicaragua by the Plasencia family who have been growing tobacco for five generations and own three of the largest cigar factories in Nicaragua. The Alma Fuerte Natural is a medium strength cigar that is blended using only premium Nicaraguan tobaccos. This Nicaraguan puro is known for its natural sweetness and woodsy flavors. The cigars are placed in a wooden box whose lid is designed to serve as an ashtray.

  Plasencia Cosecha 151

  The Plasencia Cosecha 151 cigar line was crafted using tobaccos grown and harvested in 2016, which happens to be this storied brand’s 151st harvest (“cosecha” is Spanish for harvest). This Honduran puro sports a dark, tempting maduro wrapper. The tobacco used in this must-try blend was grown on farms owned and operated by the Plasencia family. The cigars were hand crafted in Honduras at the family’s cigar factory.

  Plasencia Reserva Original

  For more than 150 years, the Plasencia cigar factory has been making cigars the old-fashioned way: by hand. The Plasencia Family’s cigar-making heritage is self-evident in their Plasencia Reserva Original line of fine cigars. Using only tobacco certified by the Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA), the Plasencia Reserva Original is considered the world’s first and only organic cigar. An earthy, dark-brown wrapper from the Jalapa and Estelí regions of Nicaragua surrounds the filler and binder, which is also from Nicaragua. The Plasencia Reserva Privada Original is a medium-strength maduro that produces a flavor which speaks of fruits, nuts, and caramel. In 2017, Plasencia Cigars received the Prime Time Award: Large Company of the Year award, which is presented by Cigar Coop.
