Description
A medium-bodied smoke with a spicy, earthy, coffee, and sweetness profile. This Honduran puro sports a savory maduro wrapper. From filler to wrapper the cigars are made of premium tobacco leaves sourced from Plasencia’s farms in Honduras. Handmade in Honduras, the Plasencia Cosecha 151 uses Honduran tobacco from Plasencia’s 151st harvest, which occurred in 2016. “Cosecha” is the Spanish word for harvest.

A cigar collector friend gave me two 151s to try. I wanted to like this cigar but I could not. Construction and burn were perfect, but quite honestly zero flavor. I mean it was like smoking paper. Maybe the ones he gave me had just gone 'bad'. I dunno...but after 15 minutes of smoking and getting no flavor I ended up pitching both of them.

Great looking stick, fell short of expectations but had a great draw, nice thick smoke and the burn was pretty decent, trouble keeping it lit and while there was occasional flavor it was lite and nothing like described.

Simple, not complex, heavy barnyard flavor throughout the entire smoke. Decent, but not even close to the 146 blend which was one of my favorites.

Very, very good cigar. Strongly prefer Nic cigars to Hon cigars and never had a great or even very good Hon. This cigar is easily the best Hon I have had. Smokes like a Nic but with Hon earth that is actually pleasant. Still prefer Nic cigars but really glad I tried

The Plasencia Cosecha 151 La Tradición Toro is a well-balanced smoke with great construction. The draw is easy, the burn stays even, and the flavors are rich—earth, cedar, and a touch of spice with a natural sweetness. Medium-bodied, smooth, and super enjoyable. A solid pick for any occasion.

Very nice smoke. A little woody but not overpowering. Consistent taste through out and burned great. Will definitely smoke again.

Despite being a simple cigar blend-wise, it’s brimming with complexity and rich flavor. The smoke carries notes of cocoa, dark fruit, baking spices, and just a bit of pepper to balance the powerful sweetness. Take it from someone who adores every cigar the Plasencia family makes, this is one of their finest!
