The Plasencia Cosecha 149 is named in honor of Plasencia’s 149th harvest. It also pays tribute to the fine tobacco that is grown in Honduras, and the hard-working people who tend the rich soils of this Central American country.

Medium to medium/full body by end. Strong tones of earth and leather with an arid smoke texture for first few puffs, which I wasn't a fan of and wonder if it's related to the tapered end. Then the cigar transformed with a significant shift to notes of chocolate, creamy smoke texture, some nutmeg on the retro with an undertone of caramel. Now we're talkin'. Had a couple instances of uneven burn, which required a boost from the torch but without any affect on flavor.

Well constructed cigar, consistent burn and draw w a medium body and good taste. Not sure about the value at this price but definitely a good stick.
