It sports an oily sun grown Honduran Corojo wrapper that covers a Nicaraguan binder and carefully aged Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers. This delicious blend creates a balanced yet flavorful profile with notes of coffee, pepper, sweetness and spice. This commemorative cigar is available in a 20-count collectible box that depicts Mayan artwork. The Oscar 2012 Corojo received a 92 rating from Cigar Journal in 2017.

  A box pressed cigar is a cigar that has a square shape. Originally, this shape came from the practice of packing round cigars tightly in cardboard boxes which are then compacted using a manual press. The cigars are thus pressed into each other and become a "squarish" or semi-square shape. Today, cigar makers use square shaped molds or a wooden trunk press for their box pressed cigars, achieving a more defined square section.

Danli and the Jamastran Valley is considered the heart of Honduras’ cigar industry. The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.
